Lobster season ends March 31, 2014

This is the biggest lobster I've ever caught by myself on Lisa and Sergio's boat. It was mini season 2009, last day, last dive. I was so thankful...everyone else on board was so jealous

But be real aware that the middle of the GoPro video has a six foot wide sting ray that was not noticed by the class it flew over while they were on the Belzona barge in Miami waters... the wing of the ray went 12" from my camera.

Dr. T. N. Chan is one of the world's leading acupuncturists (Tai Chi masters as well) demonstrates a stance with Manjushiri Sword.  The only thing I could barely stand was when he used me as a sparring partner... I thought I was in trouble as his technique came "razor" close at times... 

Finally I managed  created  quite the portrait photo while we were there for a
beautiful snowfall at his home.  Check out the tracks... deer, big rabbits?

I have recently spent several cold weekends in NYC to do time-lapse stock footage and ran back out to Roslyn where I grew up.  I went to a LIRR bridge that I had photographed over 40 years ago in B&W... some of my first rolls of film in that Nikkormat FTn

... and then February 2014 we have a new look

... what a zen moment to realize that 40 years later i still have pleasure to photograph the same site... thrilling

Georgia On My Mind...And In My Hard Drive

I spent four days in the Smoky Mountains of Georgia teaching the Miami Ad School Photography students about the wonderful world of photography...I busted their balls. As a photographer, it was very invigorating to be in a new environment. I got so turned on by everything, I couldn't put my cameras down. (iPhone, Sony A55, Nikon D800, Phase P30
